Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Spilhaus website (the “Site”) and the purchase of products from Spilhaus via the Site. By using the Site and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Orders & Delivery
We currently only accept orders within South Africa and do not offer international shipping at this time. Once your payment is confirmed, goods are typically dispatched from our warehouse within 2–4 working days.
Please note that deliveries to outlying/rural areas and farms may incur a higher delivery fee by the courier. We will contact you in such cases regarding the additional fee if applicable.
If you do not receive your order confirmation within 10 minutes, kindly check your junk/spam folder.
2.1 Accepting Your Delivery
On delivery, we will require that you or your authorised representative sign for the goods along with their or your name. This is to confirm that the goods have been received.
If no one is at the delivery address to accept delivery, we will contact you to arrange an alternative time. You will be charged an additional delivery fee if we cannot deliver the goods to you due to access problems or if you are not available when we deliver the goods on the second attempt using the time you give us.
3. Product & Price Information
Most of Spilhaus and Swarovski’s products displayed on the Site are available in select Spilhaus and Swarovski stores while supplies last. In some cases, merchandise displayed for sale on the Site may not be available in Spilhaus/Swarovski stores but are usually available to order.
The prices displayed on the Site are quoted in South African Rands (ZAR) and are valid and effective only in South Africa for in-stock items only. There are times where prices are exclusive to the online site and other instances where a price is valid for in-store only. If an item is out of stock we will gladly quote you before proceeding.
4. Inaccuracy Disclaimer
From time to time there may be information on the Site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions or availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).
Price and availability information contained on this site is subject to change without notice. Spilhaus shall not be bound by any errors or omissions in posting product information or prices with respect to any products or services offered on the Site.
5. Colours
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible, the colours of our products that appear on the Site. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will be 100% accurate.
6. Discount Coupon Usage
- Sale Items: Our 5% discount coupon codes cannot be applied to items currently on sale.
- Coupon Code Validity: The coupon codes are valid for a period of 14 days from the date of issuance.
- Usage Limit: Each customer is limited to one-time usage of the coupon code.
- One Discount Code per Purchase: Only one discount code can be applied per purchase and they cannot be used in conjunction with other coupon codes.
- Gift Cards: The minimum amount for a gift card is R500, and the 5% sign-up discount does not apply to online gift voucher purchases.
7. Returns & Repairs Policy
Our goal is to ensure your satisfaction. If for any reason you are not happy with the product, you may exchange most of our products in their new, unopened condition within 7 days of delivery for a different item or a gift voucher. Special orders are not returnable.
7.1 Return Process
Before returning any item, you will need to communicate via email at service@spilhaus.co.za to receive instructions and a return code.
In accordance with international norms and for hygiene reasons, pierced earrings are not returnable under any circumstances.
7.2 Costs for Returns (Non-Defective Items)
To return a non-defective product, the cost of the initial delivery and collection is charged to the customer, in addition to the cost of us sending a replacement item where applicable.
Please note that sale items that are not a manufacturing defect are not returnable.
Free delivery applies to an online purchase that is R2 500 or more and delivery and/or collection may be charged if a returnable item/s brings the total below R2 500.
Any order or part thereof cancelled or returned after shipping will incur the cost of the courier fee as well as the uplift cost to return the goods to our warehouse.
7.3 Intended Use
Our goods are intended for use in an ordinary residential or domestic environment only and are not fit for any commercial or industrial use. Should you use our goods in a commercial or industrial environment, you do so entirely at your own risk, and our normal guarantees and warranties will not apply under these circumstances.
8. Availability of Stock
The provision of goods by Spilhaus is subject to availability of stock. In cases of unavailability, Spilhaus/Swarovski will refund the client in full within 7 working days.
9. Incorrectly Delivered Items
We will always endeavour to deliver the correct goods that you have ordered. Errors can however occur and if we have sent an incorrect item, we will uplift and return at our cost.
10. Goods Arriving Damaged
In the event that your goods arrive damaged, please notify us immediately by logging a return on our website as soon as possible but no longer than 3 working days from receiving the item. Please keep all the original packaging and protective wrapping intact when we arrange for a courier to collect the damaged product. The returned item must be properly and securely packed for the return journey.
11. Guarantees & Warranties
Swarovski products are sold with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Swarovski International reserves the right to decide on defective workmanship.
Most Spilhaus products carry a 2-year manufacturer’s guarantee against defective workmanship. Please email us should you wish to know more.
If a product is found to have a manufacturing defect within six months of purchase, Spilhaus will arrange the courier service at no cost to the customer. For manufacturing defects reported after six months customers can arrange their own courier service or take the item to one of our stores by prior arrangement with us. Spilhaus can also arrange a courier at a fee of R150 for collection and R150 for redelivery.
This policy applies only to manufacturing defects and does not cover damage caused by misuse, normal wear and tear, or accidental damage.
Spilhaus reserves the right to inspect the product before confirming eligibility for return or replacement.
12. Payment Options Accepted
Payment can be made using Visa or MasterCard as well as Ozow to do a direct electronic funds transfer (EFT) on our secured platform, or by bank transfer into the Spilhaus bank account. Please email info@spilhaus.co.za for these details.
12.1 Card Acquiring & Security
Card transactions will be acquired for Spilhaus via PayU (Pty) Ltd who are an approved payment gateway for all South African acquiring banks. PayU uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.payu.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
13. Customer Privacy Policy
Spilhaus shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).
14. No Liability
Subject to applicable law, including with respect to liability for personal injury or non-waivable statutory rights under South African law, in no event shall Spilhaus, its directors, employees, and shareholders:
- Be liable to the user with respect to use of the sites, the content or the materials contained in or accessed through the sites (including without limitation any damages caused by or resulting from reliance by a user on any information obtained from Spilhaus), or any damages that result from mistakes, omissions, interruption, deletion of files or email, errors, defects, viruses, delays in operation or transmission or any failure of performance, whether or not resulting from acts of God, communications failures, theft, destruction, fraud, or unauthorized access to Spilhaus records, programs or service; and
- Be liable to the user for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, including, without limitation, damages for loss of goodwill, lost profits, loss, theft or corruption of user information, or the inability to use the sites or any of their features. The user’s sole remedy is to cease use of the sites.
15. Country of Domicile & Governing Law
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Spilhaus chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature:
16. Free gifts
*Free gifts offered by selected brands are only applicable to purchases those selected brands. This means if an offer of a free gift is made by Swarovski then only qualifying Swarovski items purchased, will qualify for the promotion.
Offers are valid between the specified dates and applies to purchases of a specific amount or more made (only) on spilhaus.co.za - While stocks last.
Offers are not valid for purchases made outside the dates of the offer. For the avoidance of doubt, repair services and delivery costs do not count towards a qualifying purchase. All items forming part of the qualifying purchase must be purchased at the same time, in a single transaction. The offer only applies to full-priced products and cannot be combined with any other offer. We reserve the right to withdraw, modify or decline this offer without prior notice. All purchases are subject to the standard Delivery and Returns Policy.
If you are returning your online order ( or part thereof ) and the value falls below the qualifying spend, the free gift must be included in the return. These Terms are additional to Spilhaus standard terms and conditions, which continue to apply.
