Shipping Policy

 

    This Shipping Policy explains how Spilhaus delivers orders placed on our website (“Site”), including delivery timelines, delivery fees, and what happens if delivery cannot be completed.     By placing an order with Spilhaus, you agree to the terms set out below.  

 
 

1. Delivery Areas

 

    We currently only accept orders for delivery within South Africa and do not offer international shipping at this time.  

 
 

2. Dispatch & Delivery Timeframes

 

    Once payment has been confirmed, goods are typically dispatched from our warehouse within 2–4 working days.     Delivery timeframes may vary depending on your location and courier serviceability.  

 

    Office Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 (Closed on Public Holidays). Orders and customer service requests are processed during office hours only.  

 
 

3. Delivery Fees

 

    Delivery fees are as follows:

  • Orders under R2 500: R150 delivery fee
  •    
  • Orders of R2 500 or more: Free delivery
  •  
 

    Please note that deliveries to outlying/rural areas and farms may incur a higher delivery fee by the courier.     If an additional fee applies, we will contact you to confirm the extra charge before proceeding where required.  

 
 

4. Accepting Your Delivery

 

    On delivery, we will require that you or your authorised representative sign for the goods along with their or your name.     This is to confirm that the goods have been received.  

 

    If no one is available at the delivery address to accept delivery, we will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery time.     Please ensure that the delivery address provided is accurate and accessible.  

 
 

5. Failed Delivery Attempts

 

    If we cannot deliver the goods due to access problems or if you (or your authorised representative) are not available to accept delivery on the second attempt using the time you provide,     you will be charged an additional delivery fee.  

 
 

6. Order Confirmation

 

    After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation email.     If you do not receive your order confirmation within 10 minutes, please check your junk/spam folder.     If you still cannot locate it, contact us using the details below.  

 
 

7. Goods Arriving Damaged

 

    If your goods arrive damaged, please notify us immediately by logging a return on our website as soon as possible, but no later than     3 working days from receiving the item.     Please keep all original packaging and protective wrapping intact.     The returned item must be properly and securely packed for the return journey.
