R3,980.00
December 2020 marks the 250th anniversary of the birth of Ludwig van Beethoven, one of the most prominent figures in the history of music. An occasion celebrated by Vista Alegre through a set of pieces of great symbolism. To illustrate fragments of this brilliant life, Vista Alegre invited the illustrator Fatinha Ramos, known for her drawings full of color and poetry. Each piece in this collection full of charm reveals small subtleties, alluding to the creations of his colossal talent.
Born in Aveiro, Fatinha Ramos is an illustrator and visual artist based in Antwerp. After working for twelve years in design and artistic direction, she followed her old dream of becoming a full-time illustrator. Her work is marked by her creation of imaginary realities, with a surreal touch, made of unique textures and palettes of bright colors, with compositions that create a one-ofa-kind universe. In addition to editorial illustrations for childrenÕs books and personal projects, her illustrations can also be seen in murals, animation, fashion, theater, and now ceramics. Her work has been displayed all over the world. She has been recognised by, among many others, the New York Society of Illustrators, 3×3, Communication Arts, Global Illustration Award, World Illustrations Awards (AOI) and White Raven at the Frankfurt Book Fair.
